Promenade in Świnoujście

The main assumptions of the revitalization of the Historic Promenade in Świnoujście were, on the one hand, to emphasize its historical character, and on the other hand, to give the urban fabric a modern touch. During the construction, almost 14 thousand square meters of concrete slabs in the formats 60x60x8 cm and 60x30x8 cm in fashionable shades of white, graphite and brown, which were created especially for the needs of this unusual seaside project, were used

In addition, the innovative Dasag concrete slabs used during the works have another important purpose – they help to reduce the so-called urban heat islands. The products used are characterized by a high solar radiation reflectance (SRI), with low absorption of thermal radiation. The company has therefore not only taken care of the exemplary reconstruction of the historic part of the city, but also given it completely new and practical functions in the spirit of the fight against global warming.
