Dasag concrete paving slabs and steps at a modern intersection

Intersection of Piłsudskiego, Kołłątaja and Peronowa Streets in Wrocław It is a strategic point on the map of the city. In its immediate vicinity there are many places of great importance for residents and not only – m.in. Wrocław Główny railway station; the seat of the Land and Mortgage Register Department of the District Court in Wrocław-Krzyki; the main branch of the Polish Post, Wroclavia and Arkady Wrocławskie shopping centers and the famous Piast, Sofia and ibis Styles hotels. The intersection, located in the bustling city center, has long been in need of a major renovation, which it received in 2021. In the implementation of the investment, the following were used: concrete stair treads and paving slabs from Dasag.

The renovation included the reconstruction of the tram track, public transport stops, the square in front of the Wrocław Główny railway station and sidewalks surrounding the strategic intersection. Thanks concrete forms from Dasag A modern and elegant space was created here, which appealed to most Wrocław residents and visitors. Along Peronowa Street, as well as on the square in front of the main entrance to the station, paving slabs from the Promenada Prato collection were used in shades 7431 and 7437, which are arranged in a characteristic pattern composed of smaller and larger squares. Between them, there are unusual, irregularly shaped green islands, which are covered with soft lawns that give the whole an individual character.

Dasag concrete stair treads as a remedy for uneven terrain at Peronowa Street

On the other side of Peronowa Street, in front of the Rossmann store located in a modern office and service building, minimalist Dasag concrete stairs have also been installed. Prefabricated architectural concrete steps offered by our brand allowed for a consistent combination of finishes of the space in front of the station and around the intersection, and at the same time solving the problem of unevenness of the terrain in this place. The concrete Dasag stair treads have been supplemented with heavy metal railings, which perfectly fit into the metropolitan atmosphere, which cannot be denied the new version of this key intersection for Wrocław.

For the purposes of the investment, we delivered:
