Just as every production needs a perfect set design, when arranging interiors, you should take care of a good background. This is where original concrete terrazo tiles come to the rescue, which are taking designers, architects and investors by storm. What is so unusual about them? Terrazzo tiles are synonymous with modern design, combining minimalism and timeless design that does not go out of fashion. Concrete tiles in natural shades beautifully expose the elements of the décor, creating delightful duos with almost any style of interior composition. But that’s not all. Concrete is extremely resistant to abrasion, mechanical damage, copes well with adverse weather conditions, and is easy to keep clean. Terrazo tiles by Dasag – a stage design worthy of the theatre

The Wrocław Capitol is a theatre with a huge tradition and an extremely rich history. No wonder that years later it required a general renovation. The expansion was a major construction challenge. Located in the very center of the city, in a fairly compact development, it did not make things easy for the architects. From 4,000 square meters, the facility grew to 18,000 square meters, becoming one of the largest theaters in Lower Silesia. The interiors have also undergone a considerable metamorphosis, and the irreplaceable Dasag concrete slabs have become the background for the décor elements.

Dasag precast concrete elements can be found both in the new part and in the restored interiors. We delivered floors, stair cladding and terrazzo wall slabs to the construction site. The grey, white and black of the concrete tiles harmonise beautifully with the green of the flowering vegetation, the expressive red of the carpets and the golden decors. It is a royal interior in all respects – full of art – not only on stage, but also in the meticulous design. From the floor to the ceiling.
