Dasag floor tiles decorated the Municipal Stadium. Wrocław proud of its showcase

The black tiles from the Nordic series were supplied by Dasag during the construction of the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław. The floor tiles perfectly fit into the aesthetics of one of the most modern sports facilities in Poland. The lantern-shaped stadium, symbolizing the dynamic development of the city, has since been home to the greatest football celebrities and world-class musicians – Iron Maiden and Kings of Leon. Already at the time of developing the first design concepts, it was known that it would become an undisputed showcase and a new symbol of the historic capital of Lower Silesia.

Nordic tiles – elegance and reliability

Black tiles are a guarantee of a stylish arrangement, and Nordic tiles guarantee a distinct structure and natural colors. Dasag floor tiles are characterized by high strength and abrasion resistance, which makes them suitable for places burdened with intensive use, such as the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław. Dasag products perfectly match the façade that gives the facility lightness, and the specially designed lighting allows the stadium to take on different colors – depending on the nature of the event taking place in it.

Who designed the city stadium? Wrocław has opted for a proven office

The project was carried out by JSK Architekci. It is worth noting that this is another implementation of such a large sports facility. Their portfolio also includes outlining plans for the National Stadium in Warsaw. The Wrocław project is distinguished by a mesh made of fiberglass covered with Teflon, which covers the stadium. The designers once again reached for a proven solution. In the case of both stadiums, they opted for Dasag floor tiles.

Materials with the pattern 7857 were used in the project.
