Nowy Targ Square in Wrocław – new concrete slabs

Wroclaw is one of the most interesting Polish cities in terms of architecture, and Nowy Targ Square is one of the three historic market squares of the Old Town. For years called the “concrete desert”, it finally received a modernist appearance. And all thanks to the use of Dasag concrete slabs and black granite paving stones. The design, referring to the original, was created by the Roman Rutkowski Architects design studio. Currently, Nowy Targ Square is undoubtedly a showcase of the Old Town, giving it a unique character. Today, events such as the Culinary Fair are held there, which are very popular among residents.

Paving slabs and decorative aggregates – a unique combination

Nowy Targ Square in Wrocław has received a new quality thanks to the use of a wide range of Dasag paving slabs. The designers decided, among others, on the Promenada Prato series, characterized by a distinct structure emphasized by decorative aggregates. Thanks to the “sandblasting” method, the whole thing acquires a delicate roughness, making this product perfect as a decorative element.

Stair plinths – an elegant complement to the square

The designers also opted for the Indigo series made in Prato technology, thanks to which they obtained a surface characterized by high durability and resistance to weather conditions. Stair plinths are their tasteful culmination. Thanks to the renovation, Nowy Targ Square in Wrocław has become an important point on the map of the city and quickly gained the status of one of the most interesting spaces, which enjoys unflagging popularity not only among residents but also tourists.

For the purposes of the investment, we delivered:

– 2007 m² of Promenada Prato series slabs with dimensions of 50x50x8cm, pattern 7437, sandblasted,
– 3130 m² of slabs from the Prato Promenade series, dimensions 50x50x8cm, pattern 7431, sandblasted,
– 50 m² of Indigo Prato series slabs with dimensions of 40x40x3.8 cm, pattern 7437 sandblasted,
– 50 m² of Indigo Prato series slabs with dimensions of 40x40x3.8 cm, pattern 7431 sandblasted,
– 276 m² of tiles from the Select series with dimensions of 30x30x3 cm, pattern 7234, sanded,
– 52 m² of tiles from the Select series with dimensions of 30x30x3 cm, pattern 7807, sanded,
– 180,36 m of angular stairs, pattern 7438 with a sandblasted strip,
– 190 m of wall-mounted plinth,
– 119 sets of stair plinth.
